This extender worked good at 40 feet. I initially had some flashing problems on the TV. After investigation I found that the flashing was the result of HDMI connection cables that were too long at the transmitter! Make sure that you use very good quality HDMI cables at the transmitter and receiver and good quality CAT5E. Keep the HDMI cables short as possible!!
